A buddy of mine recently said something that stuck with me, “There is no such thing as truth… it changes moment by moment, and no one can agree upon what it is… it is totally unreliable… the world is full of lies and deception… that’s the truth.” Kinda scary, right? If we can’t count on the truth, what’s left? Just a big mess with no purpose.
However, I encountered a contrasting perspective from a friend I regard as wiser. He reminded me of some infamous and powerful words: “For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the Truth. Everyone who is of the Truth hears My voice.” This resonated deeply with me, instilling a sense of hope. The Author of this statement says Absolute Truth exists, that is steadfast, reliable, and unchanging, a reality. This idea implies that amidst fluctuating truths, or lies, there is a fundamental, enduring Truth.
Running a business in Nevada means you’ve got to be smart. Being totally honest and doing the right thing isn’t always easy. Sure, it’s not as flashy as taking shortcuts, but being true to your word is super important. It’s what makes customers or clients come back again and again. It’s all about building trust and good relationships and having a long run perspective. Integrity is about truth in practice and exercising the Golden Rule, treating others as you would want to be treated.
Parents out there, you’ve got your hands full raising the next generation. Let’s teach our kids that even though the world’s got a million opinions, there’s a big, solid Truth we can count on. It’s like a lighthouse guiding us through the fog. That’s the kind of stuff that gives them a backbone and the guts to dream big and live bigger.
And what about all you hardworking folks keeping Nevada running? There’s honor in an honest day’s work. Don’t forget that. When it’s easy to get jaded, remember your sweat and elbow grease mean something, especially when you’re giving it all with integrity. You’ll never be sorry for doing the right thing.
Nevada let’s not get lost in the sauce here. We’ve got to separate the solid gold from the fool’s gold, the fake from the real, the lies from the truth. That Big Truth is out there, and it comes straight from heaven. Let’s live like we mean it and aim for that.
The small truths might be slippery, but the Big Truth is like a rock – steady and sure. So, let’s stick together, navigate through the noise, and keep our eyes on the real deal. There’s a bright future ahead when we walk the path lit up by that Big Truth.
