Ephesians 4:11-12
“11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ…”
… notice ‘what for’ Jesus gave some to be; what are these apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers specific purpose: … to equip us, the believers, for the work of the ministry. This directive is for us, layman. We believers are called to get off the milk and put in to practice our primary purpose in life, the ministry.

Mark 11:24 ²⁴Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in Prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Colossians 4:2 ²Devote yourselves to Prayer, being watchful and thankful.

James 5:16 ¹⁶Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The Prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
